Botox & Permanent Makeup

“Should I do Botox before or after permanent makeup?“ Apparently this is a very popular question from my clients. And, probably, one of the most controversial if you ask Google, since different artists have different opinions.

So, here is my opinion and arguments about Botox/Filler & Permanent Makeup based on years of experience.   And please don’t take it as my recommendation to do either. This is only for those who already decided to do botox/filler and hesitant about an order of treatments!

✅So, when it comes to eyebrows - I recommend my clients to do your permanent makeup treatment first. In case if your “injector-practitioner” accidentally lift your brows up - it would be difficult to me to define your true eyebrow shape and whether you have any asymmetry and till what extend. And since permanent makeup treatments last longer than Botox, we need to make sure that your permanent brows repeat your natural brow shape and hair grows no matter you have botox or not!

✅As it comes to Lip Blush treatment and fillers I vice verse recommend my clients to do your fillers first. Filler will smooth bigger asymmetry or enlarge your lips to the desired size. Enhancing your lips with lip blushing will create illusion of larger lips by defining your lip borders. But I will be working only on your lips tissue. So we will enhance your natural lip size and nothing beyond. Just keep that in mind.
